Covid-19 pandemic – most club play stopped, and the club room and summer house closed from March 23rd; general adult singles play allowed again from May 18th ; and set-4 doubles play allowed again from June 3rd. Restricted play allowed only under very strict hygiene and social distancing rules, with players only touching their own marked tennis balls.

A few friends in the Church formed a tennis group and played on a grass court of one of the Church members - Mr. H. Ernest Wood (more to come about him).
