As you are already probably aware, this week we are taking some time to get some maintenance onto courts 4 and 5. Your committee takes the quality and maintenance of the club very seriously but due to a number of factors (primarily the record-breaking rainfall this last autumn) courts 4 and 5 have been not as good as we hoped.

Here’s a couple of pictures showing some of the gunk (is that a word?) that the contractors have dredged up from the courts. Quite amazing. We are looking at longer term plans too to ensure this doesn’t happen again – any contributions or thoughts would be appreciated – you should all know a member of the committee. And we are always looking for volunteers to join the committee if you have the time 🙂
