The first social event of 2018, a wine tasting, was a big success! With all the places taken, The Social Committee had organised a bespoke Tennis Tippling Tasting at Liquorice, the off licence, followed by additional drinks in Lot 75 for the more hardy. Great fun and a few sore heads the next day!

Towards the end of last year, Roger Fowers, Peter Mayell and Ian Gunn were nominated for an award to the LTA. The committee (excluding them), led by Chris Rastin thought that recognition should be sought for their fine work in the activities which resulted in our splendid summer house.

The social committee are kicking off their new calendar of events with wine tasting at Liquorice (Shenfield), on Friday 2nd March.
The slurping starts at 7:30pm and tickets are £20. It’s limited to 14 places so put your name down on the sign up sheet in the clubhouse.

This Month's Super Saturday Social Tennis is this coming Saturday 16th September from 1:00pm. Ian Gunn will be running the event.
Super Saturday Socials are for Full Members only (including mid-week players and cadets).
The aim is to ensure that each set is made of 'balanced' fours across Ladies, Mens and Mixed Doubles.
